Lucy is Senior Vice President at Syneos Health Communications, where she develops employee engagement and change management strategies for various biotech and pharmaceutical clients around the world. She is passionate about leading clients on their journey to create impactful programs through long-term corporate initiatives around social action, diversity and inclusion and COVID-19 resiliency plans. Her client list has ranged from Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc., GSK Oncology, BeiGene, Neurocrine, Lonza, Sanofi Pasteur and Sangamo. Lucy recently presented “Social Justice and Beyond: How Organizations’ Values Enhance Reputation, Recruitment and Retention” at Ragan’s Annual Communications Conference. For most of her career, Lucy has led corporate communication and PR teams for U.S. pharmaceuticals and financial services companies. Her experience spans global communications, PR, marketing, digital/social media and journalism. At Prior to Syneos, she worked at Otsuka Americas Pharmaceutical Inc., Johnson and Johnson, BlackRock, CNN, ABC, New Jersey Network, CBS and Gannett Newspapers. She thrives on helping organizations create authentic cultures where employees can thrive and play an integral role in influencing the direction of the business. Her multi-faceted background enables her to look at each initiative with a fresh perspective and develop a unique approach for clients to help them differentiate themselves. Lucy is passionate about empowering organizations to embed successful sustainable employee programs and ultimately drive business growth and make meaningful connections with key stakeholders. She earned a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in Print Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in Broadcast Journalism.
