Hannah graduated from the Coventry University in 2009 with a First Class Honours Degree in Biological Sciences: Physiology and Pharmacology. After graduating she started her PhD at King’s College London in the Salivary Research Unit studying the interactions of salivary proteins with the oral mucosa and polyphenols. Following the completion of her PhD she completed a short post-doctoral position continuing with her research into salivary protein interactions. Hannah joined Lonza Biologics as a Research Scientist in the Process Analytics department in 2014, progressing to Senior Scientist and now Lead Scientist. During her time at Lonza Hannah has worked on downstream purification analysis, specialising in impurity quantification. Automation is a key focus in Process Analytics and Hannah has been involved in an automation project to establish our High Throughput Impurity Detection system for automated impurity analysis.
