Motortrend reports that BMW's Innovation Days is a developing in-car communications system dubbed Mini Connected Live. The idea behind the new technology is to add all the functionality available in popular smartphones (such as Apple's iPhone) to the actual car itself. Specifically, the system would allow the driver to use smartphone apps through the vehicle's user interface, rather than on the actual smartphone.
