Aishwarya Shevade is the Analytics lead for supporting viral vector process development in the Viral Production Group at Regeneron since March 2020. Her role requires development and implementation of high through-put analytical tools to support innovation of Adeno-Associated Virus (AAV) manufacturing processes. Her team designs and executes fast and robust assays for characterizing novel AAV-based gene therapy viral vectors and performs analysis of product quality attributes such as strength, identity, safety, purity, etc. Prior to joining Regeneron, she was a Senior Scientist at PPD (Pharmaceutical Product Development), Inc. She attained her PhD in Biological Sciences from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
