Alessandro Luigi Cataldo, MSc.Scientific Project Staff, Economic Evaluation of Biotechnological Processes at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Austria
Between 2011 and 2015 Alessandro made his Bachelor degree at the University of applied sciences Munich in the field of engineering and business administration. During this period he was able to gain key account management experience due to several internships. His Bachelor thesis concluded an economic evaluation of different industrial bioreactor types, which qualified him for a dual master study program in bioprocess engineering at the University of applied sciences Campus Vienna. During his entire master degree he started working in the working group of Prof. Alois Jungbauer at BOKU, where his main task was the economic modelling of different downstream processes. In 2018 he started his PhD in the same working group with the focus of economic and ecological modelling, especially in terms of water consumption reduction.
