Eric Althoff Ph.DDirector of Business Development at Seattle Children's Therapeutics
Profile
Eric has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Columbia University and worked with David Baker at the University of Washington on the computational design of novel protein function. The success of this work resulted in four Science and Nature papers, and Eric co-founded Arzeda to commercialize the technology. WIth Arzeda still growing and now commercializing products, Eric joined Seattle Children’s a year ago to work on moving other academic technologies toward successful commercialization. The rate of development and innovation at SCTx has been mind-blowing requiring oversight of active collaborations for research and clinical trials, licensing of technologies, and finding customers for excess manufacturing capacity.
