Senior Director/ Head, Heme Process Development, Vertex Cell and Gene Therapies at Vertex Pharmaceuticals

Irina Kadiyala has Ph.D. in biophysics with post-doctoral studies at Johns Hopkins University and Case Western University. She has more than 22 years of industrial experience and in the current position, she heads the Process Development group at Vertex Cell Gene Therapies. She is responsible for enabling process validation studies and their execution relying on her expertise in aseptic cell manufacturing.
