Dr. Laurence Delafosse is team lead of the rapid protein production team at the National Research Council of Canada. Her team supports the production of recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies in mammalian cell expression systems. She previously worked for a clinical stage biotechnology company where she acquired significant experience in CHO stable cell line development, upstream process development, technology transfer activities, and process scale-up from R&D to GMP environment for production scales comprised between 1L and 2000L single use bioreactors. She is passionate about drug development and likes to focus on what matters the most: bring safer, more effective treatments to the patients!
