Profile
Senthil heads the Technical Operations at Athersys where he is accountable for process development, MSAT and the CMC commercialization of Athersys’ stem cell therapies. Over the course of his career spanning 15+ years, Senthil has held positions of progressively greater responsibilities in CMC, having started his career as a bench scientist in process development. He has worked at both innovator companies and at CMOs, large and small.
Senthil has a B.Sc. degree in Microbiology from the Bangalore University and a Ph.D in Biochemistry from the Loyola University Chicago.
