Ying Huang, RemoteSr. Principal Scientist, Biologics Process Research & Development at Merck
Dr. Huang is currently a Sr. Principal Scientist at Merck Research Labs, managing a group responsible for cell line development and GMP cell banking to support Merck biologics portfolio. Dr. Huang received her PhD degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Tokyo, Japan. She has 15 years’ experience in the biotherapeutic/vaccine discovery and production. She has worked at Eli Lilly, NIH, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and KBI Biopharma. Prior to Merck, Dr. Huang was at GSK Vaccines where she led a Protein Expression, Purification and Characterization Lab in preclinical R&D to support recombinant subunit or mRNA vaccine development.
