Angelique Lemckert, PhD., works as a technical lead at Batavia Biosciences, where she provides scientific input and sets up viral vector development and manufacturing projects.

Angelique has a profound background in development and production of vector-based products, with more than 25 years of experience. She did her PhD on adenovectors, and she worked at Crucell (now Janssen Vaccines) for more than 10 years. At Batavia she has been responsible for leading the viral vector development group and has worked as BioRisk Manager.

Angelique has more than 30 publications to her name in international, peer-reviewed scientific journals and has been awarded 2 patents on viral vector design, packaging cells, and serotypes.
