Dr. Cintia Gomez, PhD, is an accomplished biotechnologist specializing in cell engineering. With over twelve years of experience, she has worked extensively with various types of cells, including induced pluripotent and hematopoietic stem cells, and at Demeetra, CHO and HEK293 cells. Dr. Gomez has hands-on expertise with non-viral delivery methods such as extracellular vesicles and transposon systems, as well as viral delivery systems like AAVs.

At Demeetra, Dr. Gomez focuses on cell line development using advanced technologies, including Cas-CLOVER “the clean alternative to CRISPR/Cas9” and transposase systems, to enhance applications in bioproduction and gene therapy.
