Florian Settele, Ph.D.Head, Precision Capturing at Navigo Proteins GmbH
I started my career studying biology at the University of Ulm in the field of RNA modification. In 2007, I continued my training at the German Research Cancer Center in Heidelberg and finished my PhD there, researching about cell cycle control in cancer cells. After my PhD, I joined in 2011 Scil Proteins as a scientist responsible for our phage display technology. In 2015, I additionally took over the role of a project manager for external client projects after completing my PM training. In 2017, the company was renamed to Navigo Proteins and soon thereafter I transitioned to Commercial Alliance Management. Since 2019, I´m heading one of our 2 core business units, the unit Precision Capturing, dealing with affinity chromatography for biologics. Additionally, I´m advancing my business knowledge through an MBA course at the HHL Leipzig.
