Justyna Jozefczuk, PhD

Senior Principal Scientist, Cell Line Screening & Development at Novartis Pharma AG

Justyna Jozefczuk joined the Cell Line Development group of Novartis in Basel, Switzerland in 2013, and currently holds the position of Senior Principal Scientist. She is leading the team with focus on expression of diverse therapeutic proteins in CHO cell line, as well as evaluation and implementation of various technologies. During her PhD and postdoc, she investigated molecular pathways involved in differentiation of human embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells into hepatocytes. She holds a Master of Science in Medical Biotechnology from the University of Wroclaw, Poland and received her PhD in Biochemistry from the Freie University and Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics in Berlin, Germany.
