As CEO / Director of Biologics & Licensing at Paras Biopharma (Biologics CDMO) Finland, Dr Kumar is responsible for the organisation’s Biologics CDMO activities & capabilities, the company’s biologics development program, including development of Biosimilars (for Osteoporosis and Metabolic diseases). Prior to Paras Biopharma, Dr Kumar successfully developed & out-licensed biosimilar technologies for scale-up production of biologics & biosimilars in Europe & Asia. Dr Kumar was Head of Medipolis GMP Oy in Finland for 6 years and Head of the cGMP Biopharma team in Europe where he guided a team that successfully developed & licensed a key biosimilar technology for scale-up production in Europe.

Dr. Kumar attended Harvard Business School (USA), holds a management degree from JBIMS and MS & Ph.D. in Biosciences & Biotechnology from IIT - Roorkee, India.
