Maria Parau is a PhD student in the department of Biochemical Engineering at University College London, where she also previously completed her undergraduate degree. After gaining industrial experience in downstream processing working at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies and Purolite, she is currently completing her PhD which focuses on developing a deeper understanding of depth filtration of high-cell-density CHO culture and its effects on Protein A chromatography.
