Oliver HertelPostdoctoral Researcher, Cell Culture Technology Group at Bielefeld University
Profile
Oliver holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology from Bielefeld University. He subsequently received a scholarship from the Bielefeld Young Researchers’ Fund as a bridge to a doctorate. He then wrote his doctoral thesis in the Cell Culture Technology group. In this work, he dealt with the rational cell line design of CHO cells based on sequencing data with a focus on cell line stability. Since then, he has continued to work on cell line design as a postdoctoral researcher in the same research group and teaches cell culture technology in bachelor's and master's courses at Bielefeld University.
