Åsa Schoug Bergenholtz is a Pharmacist and has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in Microbiology, where she studied Fermentation, Formulation and Freeze-drying of Lactic acid bacteria. She has more than 13 years of industrial experience from lyophilization of probiotics, pharmaceuticals (both small molecules and biologicals), oligonucleotides and enzymes. In her current position she works as a Senior Process Scientist in the Manufacturing Science and Technology team at AstraZeneca Sweden Biologics facility outside of Stockholm in Södertälje.
