Ulrich GoepfertPrincipal Scientist, Cell Technologies at Roche Innovation Centre
Dr. Goepfert received his professional training in molecular biology and biochemistry at the University of Tuebingen and the Max-Planck-Institute of Biochemistry in Munich. In 2002 he joined the Large Molecule Research group of Roche in Penzberg. As an expert in cell line engineering and molecular characterization he contributed to the pre-clinical development of numerous therapeutic proteins, with a focus on bispecific antibodies. In addition, he has been working on various aspects of cell line development, such as targeted integration, molecular mechanisms of cell line instability, cell culture automation, clonality and the detection of sequence variants.
