Laurent Poirot obtained his PhD in Immunology with professors MATHIS and BENOIST (Harvard Medical School), studying autoimmune diabetes.
As a postdoc (GNF, San Diego), he developed high-throughput genome-wide studies in lymphocytes.
In 2009, he joined Cellectis where he developed gene editing tools for HSCs and allogenic CAR T-cells. In 2013, he became Head of Early Discovery and in 2020, SVP Immunology. His team develops innovative tools to improve immunotherapies based on gene-edited CAR T cells.
