Cristina Stoyanov currently serves as Orchard Therapeutics’ CMC Lead for ADA-SCID. Prior to Orchard, she worked as a Senior Consultant with the Strategic Decisions Group (SDG), helping clients in the global health and biotech sectors assess the costs, risks, benefits, and, economic and health impact associated with their assets and investments. Prior to SDG, Cristina was a scientist in the academic and private sectors. She worked on research projects related to virus pathogenesis, vaccine-induced immunity, development of virus vector vaccines, natural immunity and disease susceptibility, and environmental factors influencing disease transmission.
Cristina holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Cornell University and a Master’s in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She received her postdoctoral degrees from the Rockefeller University and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
