Dr. Khoshakhlagh is the CEO, co-founder and co-inventor at GC Therapeutics, the first genome-scale cell landscape exploration VC-backed company using an integrated synthetic biology and AI-driven platform for cell programming. Dr. Khoshakhlagh co-founded GCTx alongside Prof. George Church and Dr. Alex Ng during her post-doc at Harvard and co-first-authored the work in Nature Biotechnology. She is also the co-founder, co-inventor and former CSO at Tympanogen, an ENT medtech company developing the first non-surgical eardrum patch which was launched into ISS in a first-of-its-kind space medicine experiment. Her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Tulane led to another U.S. patent application which is the core invention behind Axosim, a start-up that develops nerve-on-a-chip products for drug screening.
