Dr. Xiaotong Fu is a senior engineer from the gene therapeutics process development team at Biogen. Xiaotong Fu is currently leading the downstream technology development efforts to support multiple gene therapy programs at Biogen. He also focuses on building purification platform technologies and new technology innovations for future gene therapy processes. In addition, Dr.Xiaotong Fu is a SME of high throughput technologies for gene therapy process development. He graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a doctoral degree, focusing on micro-scale purifications using Lab-on-the-chip technology. He had multiple publications in both gene therapy and lab-on-the-chip fields.
