Profile

Nicklas Linz (M.Sc.) is the managing partner of ki elements UG, based in Saarbrücken. After completing his computer science studies at Saarland University, Mr. Linz worked as a scientist at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Prof. Wahlster's research group Cognitive Assistance Systems. Here, Mr. Linz dealt with applied machine learning methods and natural language processing. The focus of his research and the topic of his dissertation is the automatic recognition of dementia in spoken language. Nicklas Linz is the author of numerous conference and journal publications, which have been awarded several Best Paper Awards.

Today, Mr. Linz is the full-time manager of the start-up ki elements, which he founded in 2017 together with other DFKI scientists. With the medical product app ∆elta, the start-up digitizes classic cognitive test procedures used in the early detection of dementia. ∆elta makes examinations more standardized and time-saving.
