Commodore Gala Dinner
During the Gala Dinner the CMA Board recognizes the contributions made by an individual to the maritime industry which go beyond the common expectations of professional work and have made a long-term contribution to the industry as a whole.
The Dinner is always a lively event and the perfect round off to what are always three dynamic and business focused three days at the trade show and seminar steams.
Each of the three days of CMA, delegates, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors can attend luncheons which pull together a vibrant commercial cross section of the industry.
The Annual Speakers’ Dinner is an extremely special event reserved only for conference speakers, Event Sponsors and invited VIP guests. It literally brings together the entire mind and management of the New York and Connecticut shipping industry at the exclusive Delamar Hotel in Greenwich, Ct. for a reception and dinner at the high energy start of the CMA event. For the past decade V.Group has assembled tables of the industry’s most accomplished owners, cargo, finance, brokerage, Government and Trade Association leaders.
Private Commodore Reception
Each year a select cross section of the maritime community gathers, just hours before the new Commodore is to be celebrated at the Gala, in an energetic and warm congratulations. There are toasts, photos and hearty handshakes among the industry’s leaders as business opportunities among global industry leaders is pursued and well wishes extended. This party is open to the most involved CMA sponsors and supporters.
Over the course of the CMA events three days businesses from around the industry, around the globe representing every aspect of the business use the collected crowd at the CMA to host their own bespoke hour-long events. These include product launches, tailored seminars on new issues, client surveys, training sessions, transaction syndications, special interest meetings and industry led focus groups. The CMA will assist those with ideas ensure the best possible turnout through a variety of cross promotional steps.
