Cameron AmigoGlobal IT and Data Management Lead at SPI Marine
Cameron’s education in lean IT and data management solutions began with his entrepreneurial endeavors with two startups. He took what he learned and applied it to his formal education and experience in the world of shipping. Cameron is currently the Global IT and Data Management Lead for SPI Marine, an international logistics company with a focus on brokering specializing bulk liquids. Cameron has built and launched SPI's ERP/CRM system in six offices globally. Cameron has established a culture that thrives on data intelligence and communication for all users. His focus is on creating an IT and Data infrastructure that supports the current and future workflow for any organization that is built on speed, agility, and user experience.
Cameron Amigo is a Graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy where he majored in Logistics and Intermodal Transportation. After his graduation, he was a tugboat captain in the port of Cleveland while earning his MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain from Cleveland State. Cameron then came shore-side for Western Overseas Incorporated who specializes in the purchase and onward sale of demolition tonnage. He was then called up to deploy overseas as a Logistics Officer with the Ohio Army National Guard, where he led the Sea Mobility Team for the 371st Sustainment Brigade at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Cameron has recently completed the Business Analytics Certificate Program from Indiana University, and he is now pursuing his Master’s in Business Analytics.
