David has worked on the Commodity Insights container freight desk since June of 2020, building and developing the coverage of both the Platts Container Rates and Platts Bunker Charges. Based out of the Houston office, David covers North American ocean freight markets, and has also maintained a keen interest in the petrochemical trade during his tenure. David also writes weekly and monthly reports on the current state of play in the container shipping market, and regularly speaks at conferences and webinars around the world on these topics.
