Gabriele Dado

Commercial Director at Safetytech Accelerator

With two engineering degrees, Gabriele started his career as a graduate engineer for V.Group, the world’s largest ship management and marine services company. After taking up various roles across the organisation, living in Monaco, the UK, Cyprus and Singapore, Gabriele became the company’s youngest commercial director after only 5 years. His exposure to multiple businesses and cultures sparked his entrepreneurial fire and led him to found his own startup – BLK, in 2018. In 3 years, BLK went from an idea to one of the UK’s top tech companies, raising institutional investment and developing the world’s largest commodity marketplace.

Gabriele worked for Enry’s Island, Italy’s no. 1 incubator & accelerator, heading their commercial and fundraising activities, determining Enry’s Island entry into the US market.

Gabriele is an avid trader and a writer, having published 5 historical / adventure novels. In his spare time, he loves to sail, cycle cook and work out.
