Ms. Francesca Amore is part of the Antitrust and Competition Practice, specialising in antitrust and market regulation. Her experience encompasses a variety of industries, including financial services, telecoms, energy, and pharmaceuticals. She has been involved in several market investigations, mergers, and competition cases in front of the Competition and Market Authority (CMA), the European Commission, and national competition authorities.

Prior to joining NERA, she worked at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) where she contributed to various market studies in both retail and wholesale financial markets and worked on the assessment of a wide range of competition issues informed by empirical analyses of prices, firm business models, and consumer preferences. Whilst at the FCA, Ms. Amore contributed to the development of remedies aimed at addressing concerns in investigated markets and balancing the need to protect consumers and improve competition.

Ms. Amore also has experience as a consultant in competition and policy evaluations in Italy and was an intern in the Financial Services Cartels unit of the Directorate-General (DG) for Competition at the European Commission.
