Lawyer, Commercial Agreements & Aviation Organizations at TAP Air Portugal


Ana works in the legal department of Transportes Aéreos Portugueses, S.A. (TAP Air Portugal) as a legal counsel since 2019, being integrated in the sector of Commercial Agreements & Aviation Organizations.

Before joining Tap Air Portugal Ana worked as a Senior consultant at Vieira de Almeida & Associados (2017-2018), where she integrated the legal department Competition & EU practice group, advising national and international corporate groups on Portuguese and European competition/antitrust law with a focus on cartel investigations and merger control, antitrust compliance and distribution agreements.

Ana also worked in the Competition/Antitrust Law Department at Gleiss Lutz, Stuttgart (Germany) as a Foreign Associate (2012-2017) and as an Associate at the European and Competition Law Department of Cuatrecasas (2006-2012). From 2003 to 2005 she worked as a lawyer at the law firm Lima, Gameiro, Vasques, Antunes & Associados. From 2001 to 2003 she practiced law as a trainee at Neville de Rougemont & Associados.

 Published works

Co-author in the publications The Dominance and Monopolies Review – Sixth Edition, 2018, of the chapter 19 regarding Portugal and The Public Competition Enforcement Review –Second Edition, 2010, of the chapter 28 regarding Portugal. Also, several contributions to the online publications European Competition Law Review and e-Competitions.

Ana was admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association in 2003 and to the New York Bar Association in 2007.
