Katrina RossPolicy Manager at UK Chamber of Shipping
Katrina manages legal, insurance and taxation matters for the UK Chamber of Shipping, the trade association and voice of the UK shipping industry. Representing 180 member companies (made up of shipowners, professional organisations and maritime service suppliers) the UK Chamber works with regulators in the UK and internationally to champion and protect the shipping industry. Alongside mainstream aspects of competition law governing the shipping sector, Katrina has particular expertise in the framework of state aid rules relating to the UK tonnage tax regime.
Katrina also oversees the UK Chamber’s work relating to the UK’s offshore sector, representing owners of oil rigs and of the specialist vessels that service them, as well as vessels servicing the growing offshore renewables business.
