Yvonne Clark is an attorney with 20 years of experience advising and defending companies in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and device industries. Ms. Clark serves as Associate Head of Corporate Compliance at Spark Therapeutics, a Philadelphia-based gene therapy company. At Spark, she focuses on supporting Research, Medical, Clinical, and Patient Advocacy functions. She also manages Compliance support for the Sales and Marketing groups within Spark. She worked as a commercial attorney at Merck Sharp & Dohme Corporation prior to Spark, and counseled Merck’s U.S. Commercial Division on a variety of legal and compliance matters, and associated business risks. Before working as an in-house attorney, Ms. Clark was in private practice at the law firms of Pepper Hamilton LLP (now Troutman Pepper) and Dechert LLP.
