What are you responsible for at your company?
As a Founding Partner of Dog Haus, I’m responsible for shaping our brand’s vision and business trajectory. I specifically oversee marketing and finance, working with our team to best tell Dog Haus’ story and to drive sales. I also work with our business partners, identifying opportunities that will continue to establish our brand as a “haus”-hold name.
In less than 30 words, how would your customers describe your restaurant brand?
An award-winning concept known for its gourmet all-beef hot dogs, handcrafted sausages, humanely raised Black Angus beef burgers, one-of-a-kind fried chicken sandwiches and local craft beers on tap.
What excites you about the future of this industry?
Opportunities in the virtual space, like ghost kitchens and virtual brands. As early adopters of the ghost kitchen platform, we’ve seen how dominant this business model has become in the industry. And with the addition of virtual brands, that complement the Dog Haus brand, we’ve seen sales boost when certain day parts are slower and have added additional revenue streams via delivery.
Other than your own restaurants, what is your all-time favorite meal?
When I lived in San Francisco, I loved to eat and drink my way around the city. I quickly fell in love with Giordano Bros. and their All-In-One sandwich which featured grilled Italian meats, melted cheese, egg, coleslaw and fries.
Give us a fun fact about yourself?
I grew up in Freiburg, Germany, so great hot dogs or sausages have always been a big part of my life.
