Wärtsilä Fleet Operations Solution (FOS) is being rolled out to the leading ship manager's global fleet of more than 600 vessels, making this one of the maritime industry’s largest digitalisation projects. It represents a giant leap in the right direction as ship owners and operators seek to rely on smart solutions like FOS to operate in a ‘new normal’ characterized by environmental and economic risks. This project raises the bar for more transparency and efficiency in the sector. It enables different stakeholders like ports, ship owners, and ships to plug into one common platform to share or exchange data on a real-time basis. In essence, FOS brings the shipping industry closer to achieving the same fleet management efficiency as enjoyed by the aviation sector today.

  • Nordic Medical Clinic

NMC quickly moved to online PEME follow-ups, reaching the seafarers with an email of their results and a phone call to discuss results. Health talks covering a holistic view of physical-emotional-mental-spiritual health are broadcasted online where seafarers and their family members could take part in the discussions. Collaborative efforts like this helps shift the mindset of the seafarer, their families, and the organization to have a more proactive approach in taking personal care of our health and well-being. Judging panel

Entries are judged by an independent panel of distinguished industry leaders. The judging panel will be looking for excellence, innovation and role models in an industry keeping pace with change occurring at unparalleled speed.

Check your entry meets the criteria

You’d be surprised how many entries get rejected due to ‘technical slip’ such as being in the wrong category or wrong year. Our eagle-eyed judges will check the criteria. You should too.

The most common mistake is submitting an entry in the wrong category of Awards, i.e. a vendor submitting an entry for an Operator Award.
