Anisa RizvanolliTeam Leader - Maritime Scientific Computing and Optimization at Fraunhofer CML
In 2013 I received my Diploma Degree in Computational Science and Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH). The focus of my studies has been in applied mathematics and optimization. Since then, I am working at Fraunhofer Centre for Maritime Logistics and Services and lead the team “Maritime Scientific Computing and Optimization”. My work includes among other the design and development of decision support systems for ship crew scheduling. The implementation of efficient algorithms for optimal crew demand and planning under consideration of many different legal and company specific requirement is one of my main work areas. As the project leader of the research and development projects, in the context of which the decision support system is being developed, I am responsible for the customization and rollout to the shipping companies involved in the project. I am also involved as advisor in various research projects dealing with the digitalization, optimization, and innovative developments in the maritime domain.
