Rebecca H. Mejia is Public Health Manager at Marine Benefits. She has more than 25 years of extensive professional experience within health and wellness.
Rebecca is involved in research and development at Marine Benefits, particularly as a key team member of Re:fresh, a health risk assessment tool developed by the company to track the health and wellbeing of seafaring crew through a systematic and holistic approach. She is also the project manager of Re:start, a health and wellbeing program tailored for the shipping industry.
Rebecca holds a Master of Science in Public Health, from Malmö University. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Medical Faculty of Lund’s University, Sweden, department of Social Medicine and Global Health. Her research focus is on seafarers’ health, wellbeing and health promotion.
