As the founder of Happiness at Sea, Pam designs prevention and intervention programs for improved mental health. Using a psychosocial lens, her programs mitigate crew fatigue, increase resilience and productivity using data analytics to verify outcomes.
Pam has over 20 years of experience working within the cruise industry, both as a crew member herself with Holland America Line and in land-based operations for Carnival Cruise Lines. Pam received a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University and is a licensed LMSW. She also holds a certificate in Business Analytics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
