Adam LoveHead of External Communications & Public Affairs at Hitachi Rail
Adam is an experienced leader in corporate communications, with particular expertise in telling rich, engaging stories to build international brand reputation. He has led Hitachi Rail’s external affairs for five years, growing the firm’s reputation from a challenger brand to established market leader in mobility, digitisation and sustainability.
Prior his current role, he managed corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement for Network Rail, working for the CEO and communicating about the delivery of major infrastructure projects, like the upgrade of London Bridge station. Previously, Adam managed media relations in Boris Johnson’s City Hall, covering events such as the London riots and the build-up to the 2012 Olympics. He began his career working for the Shadow Foreign Affairs Minister in the House of Commons and advising the leaders of local authorities on communications strategy.
Having grown up in the Middle East and Holland, Adam has an international outlook - both personally and professionally – having visited more than 60 countries. In his personal life, he is a keen skier and is trying to get better at surfing.
