Alexandria MoorePrincipal Consultant: Climate Change, Resilience and Sustainability at AECOM
As Principal Consultant for AECOM’s Climate Change, Resilience and Sustainability Practice, Alexandria Moore is supporting cities and businesses in developing and developed countries anticipate and prepare for future shocks and stresses. She is a multi-disciplinary technical specialist and project manager in sustainable urban development, climate and disaster resilience, adaptation and mitigation, and environmental policy.
Over the past ten years, Alexandria has worked across four continents developing urban resilience and climate change strategies and policies as well as creating and monitoring action plans for the delivery of interventions across the built and natural environment. This includes working extensively with major urban and environmental programs such as the World Bank Cities Resilient Program, Rockefeller 100 Resilient Cities Programme, and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Green Cities Framework.
Additionally, she has worked on research projects and development of knowledge products for prominent bodies such as the UK Committee on Climate Change on how behaviours can impact climate change risk, and training modules for practitioners on climate resilience and Public-Private Partnerships for the Global Center on Adaptation.
