Marcus is a Partner and Head of Family Asset Protection at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP and leads a team mainly based in Hong Kong and London with lawyers uniquely working together on a daily basis in cases in both jurisdictions. He is one of the leading family lawyers in Hong Kong. In the last 10 years he has acted in more ground-breaking family law cases that have gone to the Court of Appeal and/or the Court of Final Appeal than any other solicitor in Hong Kong. He was named as one of the “top 10” family lawyers in 2015 in Hong Kong in Spears Asia Magazine and has been nominated for the Lexis Nexis Family Law International Family Lawyer of the year award 2018. He is pioneering the use of predictive coding technology utilising Artificial Intelligence for cutting-edge discovery in family law cases and is developing the use of process technology in the preparation of pre and post nuptial agreements. He lectures widely at international conferences. He has recently written his 3rd edition of the Divorce and Trusts Chapter in “Family Law in Hong Kong” (Thomson Reuters) to be published later this year.
