Dr. Mathew Rose is an Investor, Physician, Entrepreneur, and Blockchain Specialist focused on innovations that improve health and quality of life. He founded SAAVHA, a social impact startup that personalizes patient experiences to reduce inequity and administrative friction around patient consent. He currently serves as a Co-Chair for the IEEE-SA IC19-004-01 committee on Data Harmonization for Enabling Remote Clinical Trials and sits on the advisory board of several start-ups. Previously, Dr. Rose served in various roles on standards committees and has more than 15 years experience in Clinical and Translational Medicine workflows. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and spoken internationally on Cybersecurity and Blockchain in Healthcare with mentions in Forbes, CoinDesk, and The Parallax.
Dr. Rose holds a Medical Degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a Masters in Biotechnology from UPenn, a Masters in Physiology from Georgetown, and a Bachelor's in Neuroscience and Business from the U. of Pittsburgh.
