Santiago de Lafuente is a Senior Advisor at Apollo Global Management with a focus on private equity, credit and special situation investment opportunities in Latin America.
Before joining Apollo, from 2003 to 2016, Santiago was co-founder of Recovery, Latin America’s largest distressed asset servicer and investor, with operations in Brazil, Argentina and the Caribbean and over USD 20bn in assets acquired and serviced. Prior to Recovery, Mr. de Lafuente worked as an investment bankers for 13 years for Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan.
Mr. de Lafuente graduated with honors in Economics from Universidad Católica Argentina.
