Cherie LitwillerRegional Director of Learning & Education Middle East at International Schools Partnership
Cherie is originally from the USA but has been living, working, and traveling outside of the USA since 2001. Cherie holds a BA in Biology, a MAT in Education and ABD Ed D from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA USA.
She started as a Chemistry teacher and has steadily advanced her career into leadership, with her last role being the Director of a school, in Abu Dhabi, before joining International Schools Partnership (ISP). Her experience has spanned six different countries from Angola now to the UAE for the past four years. She has extensive experience in the American, British, and the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
Cherie enjoys the challenge of starting schools while at the same time facilitating change in schools, most importantly keeping the students at the centre of all of her decisions. She firmly believes students and their passion for learning drives a school. Cherie is determined to provide the best learning experience for the students in ISP schools, in addition to working with teachers and staff to facilitate each child’s amazing learning journey. Interacting with the students, in each of our schools, is the most rewarding part of Cherie’s day. She also leads workshops centering around the different aspects of Leadership for the International Baccalaureate organisation.
