Tracey FergusonHead of Inclusion, at GEMS Metropole School
Tracey worked at an inclusive school for hearing impaired students which then led to her moving to a fully specialized Special Needs School in Johannesburg, South Africa for 5 years where she headed the Junior department. During her time in South Africa she worked with students on the Spectrum, with Global Developmental Delays, Hearing impairments, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, severe Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Down's Syndrome as well as children who have endured life changing car accidents and injury.
Tracey Moved to Dubai in 2015 and since starting at GEMS Metropole in 2015 she has been based in the Inclusion Department where she worked in supporting students with additional needs across the Foundation Stage, Primary Department and Secondary Department. She has been the Head of the Inclusion Support Team since 2016. During this time she has presented at KHDA “What Works - Happiness” forum as well as Child Early Intervention Medical Centre’s Autism Around the World Conference.
