Mohamed Elsherif is the founder and CEO of Ironwood Investments, an investment firm operating in the Private Equity and Financial Advisory fields.

Ironwood Investments recently established “Lighthouse Education”, a k-12 investment platform in collaboration with one of Egypt’s largest and most prominent k-12 operators with a mandate to build, buy and operate mid tear schools in Egypt. The platforms investors include The Sovereign Fund of Egypt, Misr Insurance Group, Banque Misr, Rajhi Invest, United Bank, among others.

Elsherif currently holds CEO and Vice Chairman position in Lighthouse Education. Elsherif brings more than 24 years of experience in investment, management consulting and operations across Egypt, USA and the GCC. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Master in Business Administration from the American University in Cairo.
