Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) are substances that interfere with the endocrine or hormonal system and can produce harmful effects within both humans and animals as well as the environment. To date, there is no specific regulation relating to endocrine disruptors in any country but there is a growing awareness of the need to regulate or ban specific EDCs altogether.

In this paper we look at whether a unified approach to regulation is needed, including:

- Regulatory updates to Endocrine Disruptors for REACH, BPR and 1107/09
- The differences with requirements across regulations for Endocrine Disruptors
- Common difficulties faced with Endocrine Disruptors
- Best practices to move towards unified approach for EDCs
