Robin EDME is a recognised pioneer in France and Europe in the fields of sustainable, climate and green finance, as well as in extra-financial reporting and, more broadly, sustainable development. He is one of the founders of the French Social Investment Forum (FIR, Forum pour l’investissement responsable), and of Eurosif, which he chaired for 5 years. He also chaired the Group of Friends of §47 of the Rio+20 Final Declaration, a governmental initiative of 10 countries (Europe, Latin America and Africa) promoting extra-financial reporting and is a member of the IIRC Council. He currently serves as Chair of the 2° Investing Initiative Think Tank, a director of which he has been almost since inception.
Robin EDME is currently the R&I Senior Advisor European Affairs for Research & Innovation at CEREMA (Centre for Studies and Expertise on Risks, the Environment, Mobility and Urban Planning), after having been seconded to DG FISMA of the European Commission to support the development of the European Sustainable Finance strategy. He was previously the Long Term & Responsible Finance Advisor to the Commissioner General for Sustainable Development of the French Ministry of Environment, where he notably led the development of the government SRI and GreenFin labels and participated in the drafting of article 173 of the Energy Transition Law for Green Growth.
