Workshop & Plant Visit
This unique day starts off with a workshop featuring specialists in ethanol plant design and operation and is followed by a visit to the Incauca S.A. Distillery.
Incauca S.A.S. group who owns one of the largest sugar mills in Colombia started construction of a 300,000 lit/day capacity ethanol distillery in 2003. The distillery started operation in 2005. It was designed to operate using Molasses B as feedstock however it occasionally operates on molasses A and Cane Syrup as well. The plant was expanded in 2013 to produce about 350,000 to 370,000 lit/day of fuel ethanol. It is one of the most energy-efficient plants. It delivers a very high fermentation efficiency, a higher concentration of alcohol in fermented beer, and generates very low vinasse volume (1 liter per liter of ethanol).
The plant visit is free to attend for all registered delegates. You will be pick up from the conference venue on 3 December at 14.00.
The plant visit and transport are organised by Praj.
