Robin NoblePartner at Oxera
Robin specialises in quantifying damages and economic analysis in disputes. He led the Oxera team that worked together with the European Commission to develop a seminal handbook to aid quantification of antitrust damages. He has a wide range of experience in litigation arbitration and other dispute resolution mechanisms, working across the world on cases, including the USA, Finland, Israel, Chile, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. He has been active on more than 40 of these cases in recent years, including cartel damages quantification, tax disputes, exclusionary cases, breaches of contract, and breaches of statutory duty. Robin has testifying and cross-examination experience in the UK, Ireland, Chile and South Africa.
Notable clients include: Microsoft in its claim regarding lithium-ion batteries, National Grid in its claims regarding gas insulated switchgear and high voltage cables, Avon Cosmetics in its dispute with a tax authority regarding VAT, and Ryanair in a dispute with an airport about charges.
Robin is listed in The International Who’s Who of Competition Lawyers & Economists, has published in a range of scholarly journals, and acted as reviewer on publications such as European Journal of Law and Economics.
