A former Référendaire to the British Judge at the European Court of Justice from 2000-2003, Monckton Chambers’ barrister Anneli Howard has expert insight of the interaction between EU and domestic law across a range of across a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals and health.
Anneli has appeared in a number of EU pharmaceutical cases including Teva v MHRA  EWHC 228 and Mylan v MHRA  EWHC 1051 and has advised DHSC and NHSI on the transformation of the NHS supply chain.
She is recommended by the Legal 500 and Chambers Directories as a leading practitioner in EU Law, Competition, Telecommunications and Aviation. In 2018 she won The Legal 500 award for EU/Competition Junior of the Year and is recognised as a ‘Thought Leader’ by Who’s Who for EU and competition law.
